The first version of The Periodic Table of the Elements was published by a Russian chemistry professor, Dmitri Mendeleev on this day in 1869.  Pantheist Vision shares: "A German scientist born in 1834 who coined the word ecology, popularized evolution, and propagated Pantheism in books like The Riddle of the Universe."
